A banner that says “Up the Wahs”

What would you put in there to sum up life in NZ this year?

“Moving to a Ryman apartment meant that we could take off, lock up, and leave everything. So that’s what we did, and it has been wonderful, just amazing.” Eric and Glynn, William Sanders Village residents.

This has been an ongoing gripe of mine for the past 3 years, even more so now that CCC is charging households for using "too much" water.
The local cricket club turns the water on the cricket pitch in St James Park and they leave it running for 3 or 4 days at a time, rain or shine. Thousands of litres of water for amateur cricket teams to play on it once a week for 4 or 5 hours. Have complained to CCC as well as the local council rep and just keeps happening. I asked the person I spoke to at CCC last time if the club paid for water and he said "he probably shouldn't answer that". Answer enough.
So much for conserving water, especially in what looks to be a hot, dry summer.
Good job CCC!
