At the Hub we all stand in support of our Muslim whฤnau, we are providing spaces and a neutral welcoming place for them to gather after funerals.
The Christchurch Victims Organising Committee is also based at the Hub at the moment. They collect donations, deliver food and other items to the families and are creating a network of support for the victims and their families
There is a strange atmosphere at the Hub,as in the whole city, but one thing is clear: we are stronger and more united than ever.
We are many but we are one.
After consulting with our Muslim whฤnau, we have decided to go ahead with our Phillipstown Hub Twilight Gala. It will be an opportunity for the whole community to stay together, support and connect after the horrific event that happened last Friday.
