Hi neighbours! We're back to normal this week, gathering at 10.30am. Mike Robb will be starting a new series on 'Enemies of the Heart'. This series is about breaking free from the destructive power of guilt, anger, greed and jealousy. As always, the coffee will be hot at 10.15am! Hope you can join us!
This past week, Eugene Peterson died at the age of 85yrs. You may know Eugene Peterson as the translator of the Message Bible. Only God knows the time a person is born & the time that a person will die, the certainty that we live with is that every day is a gift from God. I watched a fascinating interview between Bono (U2) & Eugene Peterson on the honesty of the Psalms & the challenge to live our lives in transparency before God. Response to regifting presents
My mind tends to wander:
I do not see any problem with regifting it back to the person who gave it, they obviously liked it. In fact, that might work out well as you buy the present you want, then gift it to someone you know who will gift it back.
Perfect, no decision needs to be made about Xmas presents
