Planting day
We wanted to thank Oaklands School and all the Girl Guides who helped out last week with planting and clean-up.
Oaklands School’s Yr 7s cleared out over 130kg of weeds from Halswell Domain and Westlake Reserve and planted over 250 native plants in their place.
Two separate Girl Guides groups helped plant over 250 plants between them in Cashmere Stream Esplanade Reserve and Avonhead Park.
It was a great effort and here are some photos from the day.
