Trees for Canterbury at the Groynes- What a turnout!

Aaron Campbell from Aaron Campbell - Fendalton-Waimairi-Harewood Board

and it keeps growing -pun intended
Thanks to Trees for Canterbury and the CCC Parks team for their coordination and continued work in our city's environment.
Chch came out in force yesterday, well over 1000 natives planted, all the mulch was there already and so were a few 'empties' with 2010 expiry dates on them that I picked up - Take your rubbish home with you & recycle!

keep an eye out for the last remaining planting days this year coming up on the TfC website/fb page or the CCC website as well.

fyi- we plant in the cooler months, not the hotter drier months for better survival rates of the plantings
