Found Kitten
Hi all, I have a very scared wee grey kitten here, it was running round outside my home here yesterday and then hid inside. Grey shorthaired no collar. Clear green/yellow eyes, shiny coat. Cannot get near him/her, they are in my spare room away from my own cats, have had biscuits, water and used a litterbox but will not come out from undera bed. Please respond here if you are missing a kitten.

My mind tends to wander:
I do not see any problem with regifting it back to the person who gave it, they obviously liked it. In fact, that might work out well as you buy the present you want, then gift it to someone you know who will gift it back.
