Biketober Chch Week 1: Pedal into Spring!
Week 1 of Biketober 2018 is underway and already we've seen over a dozen different events! The first weekend cranks it up with "Pedal into Spring" on Saturday afternoon (6th) - come along to Rauora Park from 12.30pm, bring a friend or family and then choose how you want to explore town by bike. Visit the shops? Hunt down the street art? Something for the kids? There's a dozen different rides to choose from!
And if that's not enough, this weekend also sees a Build-a-bike-trailer workshop, Heathcote Express cycleway ride, social MTB rides, Meet in the Middle along the Avon-Otakaro, Women's Suffrage Ride, and much more! Don't forget too to pick a Biketober Passport and visit some of the 40 businesses for discounts and prizes. Book Cellar Christmas Opening hours
Merry Christmas from The Book Cellar!
The summer break is the perfect time to relax with a book or two (or three or four…). And, of course, books make excellent gifts. There is still time to come in and find the perfect read for you or someone else.
You will find us in the basement rooms of Cashmere Presbyterian Church (entry via the driveway for 58 Dyers Pass Road)
Our Christmas hours are:
Monday 22nd December, 10am – 3pm
Wednesday 24th December, 10am – 12noon
Friday 26th December (Boxing Day), 10am – 1pm (last day for the year).
We will reopen with our usual hours on Thursday 8th January 2026
