It’s your chance to explore all things to do with Antarctica when you join us at Antarctic Air Day on Saturday 29 September.
See the US Air Force C-17 Globemaster before it heads to McMurdo Station and Scott Base for the summer season. Meet the crews, see displays and learn what it is like to live on the coldest and windiest continent.
Check out the Panther Crash Fire Truck, Hägglunds and a Massey Ferguson plus there will be ice sculptors, huskies, live music and delicious food.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
