Freshly rolled ready lawn - grass turf FREE!

Grant from Halswell

I've been digging up a 9 metre long by 1.3 metre wide strip of grass to turn it into garden. Turf has been dugup with a good level of soil on the grass and in strips. About half ready to collect today or Saturday. The rest on Easter Sunday or Monday, so you could take it and re-lay it at your place and water it for a virtually instant lawn. (Hoping that it will take root and grow.)

Pick up will be from Longhurst in Halswell.

If you are interested in this, let me know.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
