Volunteers Required for Christmas Market

Magdalene from Aidanfield

Hi Neighbours,

Friday Street Food Market at Cathedral Square is running a Community Christmas Market this Friday, 7 December and we need a few volunteers to help supervise the bouncy castle. You will be rewarded with a free meal of your choice from any of the Food Vendors at the market. So, if you think you can:

☆ spare a couple hours of your precious time or perhaps getting your children to volunteer
☆ love to try some yummy international food;
then flick me a text at 02102307678 by this Wednesday, 5 December.

Here's the details of the volunteering hours:
11.00am to 2.30pm - 1 volunteer
2.30pm to 6pm - 1 volunteer
5.30pm to 9pm - 1 volunteer

Many Thanks
Magdalene

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
