NEW SEPARATED CYCLEWAY BETWEEN HALSWELL & CITY
The CCC are starting consultation on a new separated cycleway between Halswell and the City. For those of you who went to the St Mary's Fair you may have seen some information there. Check it out. See what they have planned. Send your comments (whether positive or negative) in!
This is a great new facility that could have a major impact on road congestion by encouraging those interested but nervous about riding on the road to use their bikes.
CCC are also be using a new web-based public consultation tool called Social Pinpoint for the first time. For Major Cycle Routes, it allows people to click on a specific area on a map that affects or concerns them and leave their comment or thoughts. It’s an online tool that aims to improve the way organisations engage with their communities and stakeholders.
We will be holding three public drop-in sessions throughout the engagement period where you can meet with the project team and discuss the plans further:

Response to regifting presents
My mind tends to wander:
I do not see any problem with regifting it back to the person who gave it, they obviously liked it. In fact, that might work out well as you buy the present you want, then gift it to someone you know who will gift it back.
Perfect, no decision needs to be made about Xmas presents
