While retirement is typically a happy, relaxing time of life, Age Concern says it can be very difficult for some as they experience a sense of loss, self worth and a lack of purpose.

We understand this is a sensitive topic, but we want to chat with a retiree who has initially struggled with retirement and may have felt these, or similar emotions.

If you're happy to share your experience please contact reporter Laura Baker by phone 03 943 2837 or email laura.baker@fairfaxmedia.co.nz

Deejay from Halswell

Hey guys,
Does anyone on here have a steel framed house (or house built by golden homes) and have a TV mounted to the wall? Or likewise, have knowledge in this area and could potentially advise whether we can and how to mount in a steel framed house?

Has someone come home with a brand new black and green Milazo bike with some speckles of mud on tyres and frame that you didn't know they had. Or has anyone seen a bike of this description dumped anywhere? The seat is up on this red adventurer bike so I presume it is an adult or tall person. My son is devasted at this lost. It has happened somewhere between 12.00 pm last night and this morning. I live on Racecourse road between Bucannans and Waterloo road. Could it have been someone you know that works at the many factories close by that have turned up with a new bike at work today? I am on my own and it took a great deal of savings to purchase this for my son I am very distraught at the thought that somebody could just help themselves. If you know anything please call Tracey 0273802571
