Light Party

Hoon Hay Presbyterian Church from Hoon Hay Presbyterian Church

Come and join us for a Light Party at Hoon Hay Presbyterian Church on Thursday the 31st of October from 4pm to 6pm.

We will have:

Treasure Hunt Sheet for Children. Complete challenges and find answers to earn yourselves one free item from our OP Shop.

Our OP Shop will be open. Take advantage of the opportunity to pop in and purchase reasonably priced clothing and items for your home.

Christchurch Meccano Club display. Come in and interact with the amazing range of items all of which have been made using this incredible construction toy. Stay for a while and have a go at constructing a model of your own.

Bar-be-que. Come and enjoy a free sausage off our Bar-be-que. (A limited number of gluten free sausages will also be available).

We are looking forward to seeing you there!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
