Yucca Plant
Although in a pot (which is broken and to be discarded) this yucca is ready for new pot or planted in a sunny spot. The wee ones can all be rooted very easily if you want a few together etc. I can pop into black plastic and do have a pot which you could use but might not stimulate growth. Height from ground is 1.65m and the plant is 1.1 metres high

Response to regifting presents
My mind tends to wander:
I do not see any problem with regifting it back to the person who gave it, they obviously liked it. In fact, that might work out well as you buy the present you want, then gift it to someone you know who will gift it back.
Perfect, no decision needs to be made about Xmas presents
