Selwyn mayoralty race under way
In the two-man Selwyn mayoralty race, self-confessed election addict and the district's first mayor, Bill Woods, will try to beat incumbent mayor Sam Broughton, who is seeking a second term in the job.
Four people have been nominated for the Malvern ward, which has two vacancies, while seven are going for the Selwyn Central ward (four vacancies), three for the Ellesmere ward (two vacancies), and four for the Springs wards (three vacancies).
