Two more Selwyn communities will soon have their drinking water chlorinated, but most of the district's water will be left alone – at least for now.
The Selwyn District Council last week rejected a plan to chlorinate all of its drinking water following widespread opposition from its 45,000 residents. More than 96 per cent of submissions made to the council were against the proposal.
