Linwood Avenue Community Corner Trust is currently experiencing higher than usual demand for our Food Bank Service. In an effort to relieve some of the strain on our resources we are hosting a Swap A Can Sale on Wednesday October 24th from 9.30am til 11.30am at 378 Linwood Avenue.
Bring your own bag and fill it with whatever you like from our Op Shop stock in exchange for a can of something for our Food Bank.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
