For the month of November, we want to raise awareness and work together to end all forms of violence including family harm, elder and child abuse, sexual assault, gang violence, and more. These victimisations affect us all and can have lasting effects that spill into our everyday lives including at work and school.
To do your part this month, perhaps consider supporting a women’s refuge or work with Police in your area to host an info night on how to identify elder or child abuse in your community. This month’s campaign also coincides with White Ribbon Day on 25 November which is an internationally celebrated day that aims to prevent violence towards women.

One piece is roughly 1.4M long and standard width with a bit of rust at one corner. It's painted mid-green on one side. The other piece is smaller, unpainted, flatter and has a hole in it to accommodate a round chimney stack. The iron is here when you are ready to pick it up. I live in Orrick Crescent. Please message me here. Thanks! :-)

I was naturally concerned that a deluge of rain would saturate my ceiling. Firemen arrived and discovered that the roofing iron had in fact, come from someone else's property, and had landed on my roof; one piece falling over to the side and the other about to. Job sorted in a few minutes by very friendly and polite firemen. Thanks guys! You're awesome! :-)

Now it is just the way Kiwis roll, with a raft of dog-friendly dining options available throughout the country. What do you think? Should dogs be allowed in cafes?
