Heartfelt Thanks to our Firemen
Due to the very high winds late yesterday, it appeared that two pieces of iron had come off my roof. I was naturally concerned that a deluge of rain would saturate my ceiling. Firemen arrived and discovered that the roofing iron had in fact, come from someone else's property, and had landed on my roof; one piece falling over to the side and the other about to. Job sorted in a few minutes by very friendly and polite firemen. Thanks guys! You're awesome! :-)
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
