My Simple Thing...
Waking up this morning to our new rescue kittens. On Tuesday we adopted these three gorgeous triplet kittens - 2 boys and 1 Princess (Beaux Bear, Theo'dorable, and Princess Lilac).
Their mum was killed by a car when they were tiny kittens and they were half hand raised and half surrogate fed by another mum cat who had weaned her own kittens. Initially they were from a litter of 6 - 1 died, and the other 2(Winter and Ru) can be visited at the Catnap Cafe in Christchurch. These are among the first kittens in the world to be completely cured of FIP after 6 months of daily injections with some ground breaking medication.
Prior to that it was my guitar collection.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
