The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Diwali has different meanings worldwide depending where you live but primarily it celebrates the triumph of good over evil. Whether you are celebrating at home by lighting lamps & eating treats, or you are going to a nearby festival, we'd love to hear about your Diwali celebrations. Seed Sharing for Neighbours Day!

The Team from Neighbours Day Aotearoa

We love how creative some people are with their plant giving! This is for goodie bags for a 7 year olds party but we reckon you could borrow this wonderful idea for the Neighbours Day Aotearoa Great Plant Swap!
What a lovely gift to get and it's not just kids who love sunflowers.

ADDED BONUS: if you give your neighbours sunflower seeds you would get to enjoy their beautiful flowers too!

Have you signed up for Neighbours Day 2021 yet? There's lots of ways you can join in...check out our website to register today:

Citizen's Advice Bureau

Susanne from Karapiro - Maungatautari

As you may already know, I am involved with the Cambridge Citizens' Advice Bureau, in Alpha Street.
What you may NOT know, is that everyone who "works" there, except our manager, Marie Payne, is a volunteer. We are looking for more volunteers as people drop out due to changes in commitments, poor health or shifting away from the area.
If this is something that appeals to you please contact us as we are hoping to start a Training Programme for new interviewers in late March. We provide full training, and as long as you have good communication skills in spoken English and are comfortable using a computer to search on the Internet, we would love to talk to you. Age is no restriction, neither are gender, ethnicity or physical disabilities.
If you would like to know more, either call or drop into the Office, at 62 Alpha Street, 07 827 4855. You can find out more about what we do at www.cab.org.nz...
