A regular retired lady who does dog walking has lost her keys on a lanyard which has a remote and house keys and we’ve spent all day retracing her steps to no avail. If anyone has picked them up please call me so we can retrieve what is a really stressful situation. Ron 021712918.

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
