Bow and arrow
Hi. A bit of a curve ball here first. My daughter is doing a book week costume to school on Friday. She’s 10. She wants to go as Katniss so first we need a bow and arrow. It can just be a kids one and it doesn’t even have to work. If anyone has one sitting around and could lend it to us we would be so grateful. At the moment we’re trying to make one and it’s looking pretty tragic! Thanks. Peter

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
