Sunday cleanup
Good morning everyone! Wow, we did a great job on Sunday at Waitemata League Club! Lots of rubbish and, unfortunately, a lot of illegal dumps to report:( We found a lot of interesting stuff like a tent and a TV screen, and something we can't identify... Who knows what's on the last picture? Thank you very much to all of the volunteers and to Waitemata League Club for letting us use their bins. We filled them up:)

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
