Should Matariki become a public holiday?
Matariki, the cluster of mid-winter starts that heralds the Māori New Year, will be starting on June 15. Auckland's got over 100 events celebrating Matariki starting from the end of June to 22 July. But should we have a public holiday as well? [Please put NFP if you don't wish your comments to be used in print.]
