Hi neighbours,

Health Minister Chris Hipkins is telling Aucklanders to wear a face mask as the city heads into an alert level 3 lockdown today.

“My advice to everyone watching this is: ‘Wear one’,” Hipkins told Stuff.

He said the Government was still working on legal issues around making masks compulsory.

A legal order under the new Covid-19 legislation would be issued on Wednesday. This would give legal effect to the alert levels in Auckland and the rest of the country.

The meeting was adjourned at the point and time determined in the Agenda. The meeting will resume for Part Two at a date and time yet to be determined. It will be members only.
A number of residents stayed behind and held a meeting and presumably elected officers who they will say are the new committee for the society. The founding members of the Society and current members do not agree.
Nevertheless, we wish them well with their new society. Additional representation can only be good for Weymouth.

Chairman Weymouth Residents and Rate Payers Incorporated
