🥇🥈🥉Space Olympics🥇🥈🥉

Fiona from Henderson

✨Light hearted fun for this wet Friday night - ENJOY✨
While the whole world was watching the Olympics from a distance, astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) were much farther—they weren’t even under the same sky. So as not to wallow in FOMO, crew members of various space agencies competed in what has been considered the “first-ever Space Olympics.”

Split into two teams, Team Dragon (after SpaceX’s Crew Dragon) and Team Soyuz (after Russia’s Soyuz), Space Olympians went head to head in space-exclusive sports of ‘Synchronized Space Swimming’, ‘Lack-of-Floor Routine’, ‘No-Handball’, and ‘Weightless Sharpshooting’, with microgravity being their greatest obstacle.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
