Vaka Tautua are providers of Community Finance Loans.
The service is available from Manukau, Waitakere and Porirua.

There are 2 types of loans:

Low interest StepUP of $1000 to $5000 and No Interest NILS up to $1000. Both loans are free of fees and charges and can be used for items that can improve people's quality of life.

The criteria is the ability to repay and borrowers much have limited incomes from work or benenfit, and be eligible for a Community Services Card.
