I am very disappointed with this response. They are very happy to take their rather exorbitant selling fee out, but obviously not so keen to help when necessary. Possibly this is because I read in the paper that some company has made an offer for Trademe.

Adjustable bed guard in very clean condition. It has straps to tighten under mattress however one of the clasps has broken (could be glued) but is still useable.

I just want your opinion on this matter. Not necessarily going to reply, but will read with interest.
On 18th December 2018, a buyer from Trademe came around to buy a suitcase from me. He arrived before pressing "BUY".
I explained that legally he had to "buy" before he could take it away. That happened, and he went away happily.
A couple of days or thereabouts, he texted me saying that the corner of the case had very slight damage which was on my photos and neither of us had picked it up on inspection
I very stupidly offered him a refund if he brought the case back, meaning bring it back straight away.
I must add, this was not sold as a new case.
FIVE weeks later he has arrived back from overseas and had five weeks use from the case, and now is asking for a full refund.
I am feeling rather upset over this. He is a businessman and probably used to wheeling and dealing.

On Friday the adult pools were closed to the public with a huge children's event. The leisure/kids area had reached full capacity and the usual sign was out front advising of no further admissions. The leisure/kids area had reached full capacity and the usual sign was out front advising of no further admissions. The wave was operating so no possibility of adult lane-type swimming. My question is why did they accept our payments at reception, allow entry only for us to ascertain there would be no swimming available and returned to reception for refunds and we left. I asked (or suggested) maybe they put a sign outside (they have a big whiteboard) and perhaps limit entry to the closed areas but that was met with silence and a silly smile. I don't know if it was announced on the website, I didn't look to be honest but that's not the point. What were we paying for....to stand in the corridor or use the bathroom?
