Jobbies.

Moya from Papakura

Hi Neighbours ~ After we get N.Y. out of the way I will be looking for a person (or people) to do some jobbies for me, like cleaning outside windows (single storey townhouse, central Papakura)), weed spraying, water blasting driveway, roof cleaning & such. I am a disabled pensioner & don't want to have to sell a kidney to do these things or cost me an arm & a leg. I just want to be able to stay in my own home for as long as possible as there is no way I am going into a retirement village. I am young at heart, slightly older in other places! Plz reply with your contact phone number & we can meet & see what wants doing & agree a price. Thank You.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
