BMX Racing in Wiri

Come along this Thursday and give BMX racing a go.

New riders are always welcome at Manukau Taniwha BMX Club - ages 5 to adult.

Thursday club nights start at 5.15pm at our track in Colin Dale Park, 87 Prices Road, Wiri. If you are new or need to use club gear please aim to arrive at 5pm.

Please come wearing a long sleeve top, long pants, shoes with socks that cover the ankles and water to drink.

Our 'Have A Go' membership is a great way to test out the sport! The first night is a free trial, then $35 covers the next 3 sessions, including bike, helmet and gloves.

Any cancellation of this club night will be posted to Facebook @taniwhabmx prior to 4.30pm

Don’t forget coins for our sausage sizzle!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
