Hilary trail
Hi All,
Hope you are keeping active and well in these trying times.
I’ve noticed various parts of the Hilary trail are closed, however am wondering if there is a section that people are aware of which is long enough to run circa 42km consecutively?
I have the Taupo ultra coming up and am keen for a practice run through trails beforehand!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
