Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is progressing the Northern Pathway project to provide a seamless dedicated walking and cycling connection between central Auckland and the North Shore.

We’re currently northern-pathway investigating the section of the pathway between Akoranga and Constellation Drive and would like to know how you want to use this section, the destinations you want to reach and what would make the path attractive for you to use.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
