Community Fruit and Veg Stand in Torbay
We have set up a community food stand at 168 Deep Creek Rd, Torbay at St Mary's by the Sea. Thank you to Monty's Promotions for donating the building materials and Chris Waddingham (local builder 021 2389606) for building it with Mark and Louise this past weekend. Please feel free to share any fruit and veg from your garden or indeed anything from your pantry that doesn't need refrigeration. We hope to reduce the amount of food that ends up in landfill or just rots on the ground and in doing so, share this with our neighbours. Please share this with your friends and family.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
