Hi neighbours Auckland drivers are increasingly running red lights. Last year, there were four fatal and 19 serious injury crashes - compared with three fatal crashes in the previous five years. This is a dangerous practice yet there's been no discernable increase in police fines. Would you like to see a police blitz, rather than their relying on driver responsibility? Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
