I am a registered NZ teacher who has been working as a reliever this year, and now with school closures, I am looking for online tutoring work.
I trained as a primary school teacher (completing a Masters of Teaching and Learning with Distinction), but I have also previously tutored high school students in Math and Science (due to my expertise from previously graduating with first-class honours in a Bachelor of Engineering).
So I am available to tutor in all subjects from year 1-9.
and to tutor maths and science for all year levels up to year 13.
For more information,
you can email me on michelledeacon@gmail.com
or txt me on 027 934 8981
Thanks,
Michelle

I've ended up having to rescue a rabbit yesterday from a rather complicated (and not great) situation. The owner has now asked that I try to find a home for him as she is in Northland and won't be able to travel down to collect him.
So I'm wondering if anyone would love a gorgeous 14 week old white male dwarf rabbit. I would keep him if our situation would allow but it's driving one of my dogs crazy and we don't have a suitable outside area.
It would be great isolation entertainment for kids :-) He is also apparently litterbox trained but suspect he may need to be refreshed on this.

We have been planning a fantastic annual festival filled with environmental events, activities and sustainable living actions with 100+ events taking place.
Taking place across North Auckland, EcoFest North had a sister-festival EcoFest West offering even more eco-events in West Auckland. And together we are creating Auckland's biggest environmental festival.
We are truly grateful to all the organisers, volunteers and supporters who have been working tirelessly to make this festival happen. Thank you also to our funders who recognised the importance of such activity.
Now is the time to be kind and look after our well-being as well as the well-being of the planet.

Hi neighbours, a two-year-old boy has spent half his life in hospital because of a rare disease that can see him pass up to 40 painful bowel movements a day.
Now, his family is hoping to raise $150,000 to take him to the United States for an operation to eliminate his pain.

Most of our events are going ahead as planned at this stage, and are taking place outdoor, mainly in nature, in a small group setting. We would like to reassure you that we support all actions to protect community health and closely monitor the Ministry of Health guidelines about COVID-19. If an event is cancelled, we inform all who registered and update our website. If planning to attend an event, please follow current recommendations, including:
- not to attend an event if you are feeling unwell, have been in, or transited through countries with high infection rates, or have been in close contact with someone confirmed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days
- be conscious to reduce touching your face, shaking hands, close contact greetings
practice good hygiene – cough into your elbow, wash hands for 20 seconds before eating, and after using the bathroom or touching surfaces that are used by many.
