No visitors allowed at Middlemore hospital
Kia ora whaanau, just letting you know that until further notice, no hospital visiting will be allowed at Middlemore hospital or our other sites except in essential or compassionate circumstances. You can still keep in touch with your loved one though in quite a few virtual ways (text, messenger, face time, WhatsApp etc) as well as phone calls. Phone them directly on their mobile or you can phone 09 276 0044 and ask to be put through to the ward or area where your whaanau member is. Haumaru te taonga – keeping our treasures safe.

Auckland Harbour Bridge summer works
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is carrying out essential maintenance on the Auckland Harbour Bridge this December and January. The southbound clip-on lanes will be closed (24/7) from 26 December to 5 January for road resurfacing. Night-time lane restrictions will be in place throughout the summer for recoating work on the bridge. Traffic will still be able to travel in both directions at all times.
