Clinics told to give measles jabs to non-NZ resident children
Kia ora neighbours, New Zealand clinics are being told not to turn away any children in need of a measles vaccination, regardless of whether they are New Zealand citizens.
The advice comes after a toddler was refused an MMR vaccine by an Auckland clinic because he had a Samoan passport.
The law says schedule vaccines should be given to children under 18 regardless of their citizenship or immigration status.

Auckland Harbour Bridge summer works
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is carrying out essential maintenance on the Auckland Harbour Bridge this December and January. The southbound clip-on lanes will be closed (24/7) from 26 December to 5 January for road resurfacing. Night-time lane restrictions will be in place throughout the summer for recoating work on the bridge. Traffic will still be able to travel in both directions at all times.
