New facility at Freyberg Park

Work is set to begin at Freyberg Park for a much needed multi-use facility. This facility will provide new changing rooms, showers, a storage room and bathrooms for our sports groups and supporters.
The work is to begin on 4 April 2022 and should be completed by mid-October.
Scope of Work includes:
ā”Provision of 110m long power connection through the Fryberg Park.
ā”Provision of water, wastewater and stormwater connections to the proposed facility
ā”Construction of pre-cast concrete toilet and changing rooms with a steel roof over the maximum flood level.
ā”Provision of carparks including landscaping
