Pumpstation at Mairangi Bay - meet the contractor
Great to see the so many residents of the Mairangi Bay & Murrays Bay Community on Saturday morning.
Congratulations to Watercare for putting on a successful meet and greet with a BBQ. This provided a great opportunity for residents to discuss the much needed upgrade to the pumpstation in Mairangi Bay which will ultimately reduce stormwater overflow into the Hauraki Gulf. Watercare, your proactiveness to engage with our community has been really well received.
I also recieved a laundry list of other council issues from friends in our community which I will work through over the coming days.

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
