St Mary by the Sea Plant and Produce Stall

We are holding our monthly Plant and Produce Stall on the 8th July, 8;30am till noon outside the St Mary Church Hall. 168 Deep Creek Rd.  We hold this stall every month except Jan,always the second Saturday of the month.  There is always a range of plants for the garden and some local gardening knowledge.  Anyone with extra garden produce or plants to donate please contact Nanette on 09  473 8499.  Come along and stock up on those veg seedlings and garden plants for the new season.   Please contact Nanette on 09 4738499 for more information.

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
