What do you think about Piha Volunteer Fire Brigade needing a new 4WD?
Hi neighbours. Piha Volunteer Fire Brigade needs a new 4WD to continue saving property and lives. A 4WD carries extra gear, more firefighters and can access beaches, farmland, steep driveways and unsealed roads - something the fire engines can't do. The firefighters are concerned they will struggle to reach and battle fires in hard to access areas. What do you think about the fact the brigade may not have a vehicle capable of reaching certain fires going into summer?

Amazingly quiet night in Green Bay
All the Best for the New Year! The last few years they started banging days earlier already, but this year it was amazingly quiet. Now either people suddenly got smart and care about animals and the environment (which I don’t believe for a second) or it’s the clearest sign of the Cost of Living Crisis we are in. I’m just glad I can make a damn fine bread for under a dollar.
