Harbour Bridge maintenance
Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises there will be closures around State Highway 1 (SH1) Auckland Harbour Bridge on Monday 2 October between 9.30pm and 5am due to maintenance.
What you need to know:
- There will be southbound lane restrictions including the southbound clip-on lanes.
- Shelly Beach Road southbound off-ramp will be closed at this time (best detour via Fanshawe Street, Beaumont Street and Westhaven Drive).
- There may be increased noise levels as paving activities are being carried out.

Suspicious Guy
Keep an eye on this guy, pretended to read the water meter, then wandered up the drive crowbar in hand when I asked what he wanted he said power and is there a dog.We have smart meters. He opened my neighbours gate (we are 3 units) and went in the back of her place with his crowbar. My son went round there and he took off. Police informed.
