Old phones - New technology!
Need a tech geek for this one. I bought some interesting phones a while back. This is real and it works well, that is until we shifted recently. When Vodafone/Chorus did that 'voice-calling over broadband' in our area they told me this phone would no longer work, however it did, including when we upgraded to fibre. Have shifted and also changed provider to Contact. Is there any way I can get this to work again? Spoken to Noel Leeming, Vodafone, Contact and PB Tech, basically what I'm being told is no chance of getting it working, or possibly it was a Vodafone option only that Contact and other providers don't have, or upgrading to Fibre (on VDSL currently) would/would not solve it - been told both, or I should find a technical person that can revive(?) the old copper wire so it is compatible with the new technology (as it was in our old house oddly), or even buy an adapter (where?). Any ideas? Or just throw it away....shame eh. Cheers
Poll: Does the building consent process need to change?
We definitely need homes that are fit to live in but there are often frustrations when it comes to getting consent to modify your own home.
