New LOW prices at The Memory Shop

Dementia Auckland from The Memory Shop, Birkenhead

You asked; we listened! After getting feedback that many locals felt that our prices were too high for a community op shop, we have lowered our prices.

Now, our fantastic items are even better bargains, and will enable even more of you to pick up a new favourite piece of clothing, find a good read, or fit out your house with furniture and kitchen ware – all while helping support a good cause!

All proceeds from The Memory Shop go directly to Dementia Auckland, to provide much-needed support services to people living with dementia and their careers.

Visit The Memory Shop today at 84 Mokoia Rd, Birkenhead.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
