After 20 years, Paula Ryan has launched a store at the NorthWest Shopping Centre on Maki Street.

The Paula Ryan collection is well known across NZ and Australia and is one of a handful of collections which are made here in NZ, with only very complex garments sourced beyond NZ shores. It is centered around quality jersey knit fabrics which are made into classic garments with a twist.

The new store is spacious, comfortable and elegant and has been designed with a fashion runway as Paula intends to hold fashion seminars, workshops and fashion parades in store.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
