Westlake Girls High School 30 Year Reunion for the 'Class of '89'

Sarah from Forrest Hill

Girls who started 3rd form at Westlake Girls in 1985 are invited to a reunion of their year-group - 30 years since graduation in 1989. Come and catch up with each other again!

Saturday 21st September, 3pm-6pm in the WGHS Staffroom.

Alumni from this year group can get details on how to Register and Pay the $20 reunion fee via the 'Class of '89' Facebook page or by emailing alumni@westlakegirls.school.nz

Please pass this on to women you know from this era at Westlake. It'd be great to see a good cohort of the 1989 graduating year group there!

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
