Native Speakers of French
We are a small group who meet on the first Wednesday of the month at midday to speak and listen to French. It is a very informal group at intermediate level to native speaker level. We bring finger food for lunch to share with our guest. It is mostly learning about our guest and his or her life to date. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
