Volunteer at Auckland Museum

The Team from Auckland Museum

Have you ever wanted to get closer to our exhibitions, collections and give back to the people of Auckland? Becoming a Weekend Information Desk Volunteer is a great way to get amongst it at Auckland Museum!

If you’re a friendly, helpful person who would enjoy helping visitors and you’ve got a knack for communicating clearly, we would love to hear from you. You’ll receive full workshop-based training to make sure you’re skilled to field questions and provide helpful information to Museum visitors.

We ask for a commitment of approximately one half-day shift per week or per fortnight, typically on Saturday or Sunday. We would love to hear from you if you have availability on Fridays and/or Mondays also. We are seeking people who are able to make a genuine, long-lasting commitment to being an Auckland Museum volunteer

Here’s your chance to help shape the experience people from Auckland, the rest of New Zealand and the rest of the world have at Auckland Museum.

Stan from Mairangi Bay

Yes I am all of the above, please can anyone suggest recommend someplace I can go ( but not the glue factory yet) for some way of easing up years of building work so I can move more easily, think stretching exercise type stuff.
I live in Mairangi Bay, more than happy to do one to one ☝️ just need to sort it. Ideally not too far away.
Thank you
