'Major leak' forces west Auckland pool complex to part close
A major overnight leak in one of Auckland's biggest public pools has stopped swimming, just a few weeks into the busy summer period.
West Wave Pool and Leisure Centre, the only public pool servicing West Auckland, leaked and flooded the wave pool area, plant room and main reception.
As a result, the wave pool, paddling pool, family and adult spa areas were closed off to repair the damage. Read more here
